高阳乡位于福建省南平市顺昌县东部，地处顺昌、南平、建瓯三县（市）交界处，距顺昌城关54公里。全乡山林广布，杉木、毛竹和高山水果是主要的林业与农业资源，高阳溪流经全乡。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋至清代，今乡境一带归建瓯县的高阳里管辖。[3] 新中国成立前，这里属建瓯县南雅区；解放后改隶房村区，1956年又归房道区。建西县在1964年设立，乡境随之编入该县，设立了高阳公社。建西县于1970年撤销，乡境转入顺昌县。1984年取消高阳公社，乡级建制改为高阳乡。[1][2][3]

全乡耕地26975.25亩，林地29.4万亩，杉木用材林占10.7万亩，毛竹林占9.5万亩，森林覆盖率为81.53%，数字据乡镇概况。[1] 全乡土地面积，乡镇概况与博雅地名网均载为236.5平方千米，百度百科则载为230平方千米。[1][2][3]

高阳溪流经全乡，沿河建有小水电站。[2]

经济[edit]

农产品有烟叶、葡萄、锥栗、杨梅、食用菌、油茶和茶叶等，「高山葡萄」「高阳杨梅」「筒阳锥粟」等已形成系列农业品牌。[1] 矿产资源有铅锌矿、黄铜矿、墨石矿、紫色页岩和花岗岩。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

博雅地名网所列的县级文物保护单位有五处：邱坑摩崖石刻（明代，在大富村）、顺昌兴福寺（清代，在振科村）、北坑云际庵（明代，在南亨村）、下科通天大圣祭坛（明代，在紫竹村）和南亨通天大圣祭坛（明代，在南亨村）。[4][5][6][7][8]

乡镇概况还提到花桥村的步云寺和大富村的龙山寺，两座寺庙建筑古朴，历史悠久；大坋村下乾组的古民居也是本乡的人文景观。大富村获评「国家2A级旅游景区」，上村村与大富村均进入第五批中国传统村落的名单。[1]

著名人物[edit]

明代吏部尚书李默是高阳人，乡镇概况称其为本乡的人物，并称他为明代理学家。[1]
