后坪村是洋后镇下辖的行政村，属老区村，距洋后集镇约9.5公里，平均海拔680米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名取“后”为方位、“坪”为平地之意。明洪武元年（1368年）村址已属遵教里；民国时期先隶第四区（大凤）遵教乡，后改隶第三区（樟湖）遵教乡。[1]

1946年村址改为遵福乡的后坪保，1950年设后坪乡，1958年编为后坪大队，1961年归洋后公社统辖。1984年洋后公社改为洋后乡，后坪大队改为后坪村委会，1992年乡制改为镇制。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内最高山峰为太宝山，海拔1166.8米，山上森林茂密，山间有历史悠久、传说神奇的太宝庙。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

合乡公禁碑位于后坪村，年代为清代，被公布为县级文物保护单位。[3]

第三次全国文物普查不可移动文物名录中，后坪村登记有清代建筑后坪太宝庙、后坪瑞云堂，以及清代的后坪森林公约碑（区级文物保护单位）。[4]

经济[edit]

森林与毛竹是村内最大的优势资源，村民以农业和林业为主，果树以桔柚、黑梨、杨梅为多。高山种植的桔柚皮薄、果肉香甜。[2][5]

人口民族[edit]

村中以林、陈两姓为主，另有刘、杨等姓氏，林、陈两姓人口约占全村人口的85%。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年12月，后坪村获福建省绿化委员会命名为「2022年福建省森林村庄」。在2023年12月的认定中，本村入选「2023年度福建省一村一品专业村」（桔柚）。[1]
