蕉坑村是延平区王台镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西南部，是全镇海拔最高的行政村，距集镇约16公里。村名的来历：所在地是山坑，多生芭蕉，故名。此说见于《1993年南平市志·地名志》。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1657年（清顺治十四年）此地属太平里，1936年归溪后乡管辖。1941年一度设蕉坑乡，1946年划入台溪镇。1958年改称蕉坑大队，此后隶属数度变动。1984年改为现名。[1]

经济[edit]

村民收入以种植业为主，村里出产毛竹、竹笋和红菇。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，蕉坑村获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
