后埔村位于南山镇西北部，面积为0.5003万亩，共160户、652人，下辖2个自然村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的「后」指方位，「埔」指河边的沙洲，村因此得名。明洪武元年（1368年）属普安里，清代沿袭。1941年属第一区南山乡后溪保，1954年属第二区后溪乡。1958年称后埔大队，1984年改为后埔村村民委员会，1992年改属南山镇。[1][2]

2020年11月，后埔村上榜2020年度南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄名单。[1]

村中的凤福寺为近现代寺庙。[2]
