村名因溪水清澈如镜、山青水秀而得，故称澄溪。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
1945年属澄溪保，1950年并入第六区澄溪乡；1958年澄溪设大队，归九峰公社管辖；1984年定名澄溪村委会。[2]
