洋坑村是霞寨镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区西北侧。村名经历了一次用字的改动。[1]

地名由来[edit]

清乾隆年间，村名写作羊坑，隶属大坪约。后来把“羊”字改为“洋”，村名遂作洋坑。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1945年此地称霞寨乡洋坑保，1950年设第二区洋坑乡，1958年属下寨公社，为洋坑大队；1984年改为洋坑村委会。[1][3]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，洋坑村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
