历史沿革[edit]
村名取自境内华美自然村，以之作村委会的名称。[1]
1958年归安厚公社，称华美大队；1984年改为华美村委会。1950年属第五区田径乡，1945年为平南乡田径保。[1]
地理环境[edit]
全村面积3.23平方千米，其中水田870亩，山地2860亩。东接径内村，南以田径村为界。[1]
