历史沿革[edit]

民国时属书教乡的坎下保；建国初期设坎下乡，公社化时改为大队，1984年改为村委会。[2]

文化遗存[edit]

村东部的怀远楼为双环圆形土楼，2006年列为全国重点文物保护单位，2008年随福建土楼列入世界遗产名录。[3][4]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2016年12月，入选「第四批美丽宜居村庄示范」名单。[1]
  • 2019年6月，列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录。[1]
  • 2022年11月，列入「2022年福建省金牌旅游村」名单。[1]
  • 2024年2月，被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[1]
