长埔村是诏安县建设乡下辖的行政村，位于乡政府驻地东南面，属乡中心区。村委会驻长埔自然村，村名由此而来。村中以胡姓为主，陈、沈、许三姓为副。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1935年，潮澄饶中心县委设在长埔的一座大祠堂内。[1]

早年，长埔先隶属第三区的村内乡，1954年划归第六区，1955至1956年间又属西潭区的村内乡。1958年9月，此地并入建设农场；1961年5月，农场在此设立长埔作业区。1979年12月改称长埔大队，1984年10月定为现名。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以农业为主，主种水稻、地瓜、甘蔗和花生，兼种荔枝、柑桔、梅、李和茶叶。[1]

长埔村的荣誉是「2021年福建省卫生村」，于2021年11月获得。[1]
