下寮村坐落在国道324线与下官线相接之处，漳诏高速公路的东互通口设在村境内。村中住有233户、847人，共四个村民组。[1]

村名的来历：村子建在凤山岭下，最早只是几间草寮，后逐步扩建成村落。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年代起，下寮一带长期与西山村同属一个行政村。1993年，下寮从西山村划出，单独设村。[1]

经济与居民[edit]

村中有多家石材企业，餐饮业户也入驻村内，另设有一座加油站。村内还有三峡移民安置的居民。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，村庄获命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」，命名单位为福建省爱卫办。[1]
