中西林场位于福建省漳州市漳浦县西北部的南浦乡境内，是一处国有林场。林场的森林覆盖率为90.84%，经营的林地为5024.4636公顷。[1] 维基百科将它列为类似乡级的单位。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

林场在1959年4月开始建立。此后它在1964年并入漳浦割后林场，合并之后才形成如今的规模。[1]

地理环境[edit]

林场坐落于南浦乡西北部。西侧隔着千里亭山与美林村相望，北边挨着后坑村，东边则靠近兴巷村。[1]

经济[edit]

林场现存林木的总蓄积量为49万余立方米。[1]下设6个管护站和1个管护点，在职职工共96人。[1]

林场内设有相思母树林基地。据2019年的一篇报道，它被说成是全国规模最大的同类基地，收集了18个新品种与306个优良种源家系，这些材料都引种自澳大利亚。其中象耳、珍珠叶、多花、流苏四个品种最具观赏价值，每年3至11月间，相思树会陆续开花、结出果实。[3]
