后溪村是湖西畲族乡下辖的行政村，村内有清代的蓝理墓。[1][2]

村名的来历：解放前此地有「金溪」的雅称；解放后，因赤湖溪流经湖西的最后一段在村边流过，改称后溪。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1940年此地为后溪保，隶属赤水乡。1944年赤水乡被并入赤湖乡，后溪保随之并入赤水保。抗战胜利后，后溪保划归湖西乡。[1]

新中国初期后溪属第十区的苏溪乡。1958年9月组建后溪生产队，归赤湖公社湖西管理区；1984年8月后溪大队改为后溪村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

蓝理墓建于清雍正五年（1727年），墓为风字形，三层墓埕，墓前设有青石供桌。墓主蓝理（1649～1720）在康熙年间随施琅出征台湾，因平台首功加左都督，官至福建陆路提督。墓于2009年被公布为「第七批福建省文物保护单位」。[2]
