古城村位于古雷半岛南部，村庄处在古雷城内，1981年由城内改名为古城。村北以古雷山北峰与龙口村相望，西邻岱仔村，东面临浮头湾。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明正统六年（1441年）古雷城初建，正德十年（1515年）重修，是古雷巡检司的驻地，当地也称「古雷社」。[2]

清初此地曾被列为「弃地」，康熙二十一年（1682年）改属九都的铜山营。1914年归东山县第三区，新中国成立后归东山县第四区，1955年12月起改属漳浦县，设古雷区。[2]

1958年归杜浔人民公社管理，1961年7月设古雷公社；1981年11月为与同名的城内大队区别，获准更名为古城大队；此后于1984年9月撤社建乡，设古雷乡（后改镇）之下的古城村，沿用至今。[1][3]

经济[edit]

村民以渔业为主，从事海上捕捞和定置网作业，捕捞对象有剑虾、虾姑、海胆和丁香鱼。农地以种植葱头为主，兼种番薯、花生；村中有剑虾、葱头等家庭加工作业。[1]

1996年修通一段一公里多长的柏油路，与杜古线相接。[1]
