沙西村是福建省漳州市漳浦县沙西镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的中部，南邻东山湾海域。村名由沙岗、西山两个自然村各取一字而来。[1][2]
村辖沙岗、西山两个自然村。百度百科称户籍人口为5384人（2014年），面积3.6平方千米；博雅地名网则记全村960户、4384人。[2][4]
历史沿革[edit]
1956年，沙岗、西山两社各取一字组成沙西乡乡名。公社化时以“沙西”为大队名，此后管理区和人民公社都沿用这一名称。[2]
清康熙年间，沙岗归沙岗保，西山则属盘陀西山保。1940年沙岗保划归涂楼乡，1944年改属屿头乡。新中国初期西山隶十二区西山乡；1955年12月，改隶杜浔区的沙西乡。[3]
百度百科称沙西村1984年正式设村。[4]
地理环境[edit]
两社之间夹着省道漳东线，漳诏高速公路则从西山社北侧绕过。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
沙岗自然村有王子爷庙、王爷公庙和大门公庙三座庙宇，另有淘金堂、本仁堂两座祠堂。[2]
西山自然村有乾隆年间建造的四方形土楼德基楼，楼仍存在；社内另有辅胜圣侯庙。[2]
