沙西镇是福建省漳州市漳浦县的一个镇，位于县境西南部，北邻梁山，南面临东山湾。镇政府驻河墘村，距县城约40公里。[1][4]

全镇下辖14个行政村，截至2019年末户籍人口为50959人。博雅地名网将沙西镇列入古雷开发区名下。[3][5]

沙西镇山、海、田兼有：北部是梁山南坡的丘陵，南面是东山湾，漳江自西向东在下埔、下寨一带入海，入海口两侧有可耕的滨海平原。渔业和榕树盆景是镇内两大产业。[1][6][7]

2022年12月，沙西镇获福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名为「2022年福建省卫生乡镇」；2014年9月，环境保护部授予其「2012年—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代这里隶属常乐乡的绥康下里，明清两代归十都管辖。[2]

清顺治年间，境内村落编成高山、南山、屿前、白衣四个保。康熙元年（1662年）迁界，沙西被划为界外的弃土；康熙十八年（1679年）复界，迁往内地的居民陆续回到旧居。[2]

1934年本地改设第二区，推行保甲制；1940年分设屿头、涂楼两乡。1944年涂楼乡并入屿头乡，原先的二十保改编为十六保。[2]

新中国初期，沙西归十二区管辖，1955年转入杜浔区。1958年隶属杜浔公社，1961年另设沙西公社；1984年公社改乡，大队改村。乡改镇的日期，博雅地名网作1992年2月，百度百科作1993年1月。[2][3]

地理环境[edit]

镇境北部为梁山支脉的丘陵与山地，西面隔莲花峰与云霄县东厦镇相邻，北与盘陀镇交界，东与杜浔镇相接。[1][8]

漳江在下埔、下寨入海，形成天然的潮汐河口。东山湾北岸滩涂宽阔，适合沙西红鲟、泥蚶等海产繁殖生长。[1]

经济[edit]

渔业中，近海捕捞与滩涂、围垦养殖占据主要位置。[1]

改革开放以后，以高山、庄前、高林三村为主体，镇内兴起榕树苗木培育和盆景栽培。沙西榕树盆景在地理标志方面已获保护产品的认定；沙西红鲟则以地理标志证明商标登记。[1][6][7]

名胜古迹[edit]

海月岩佛寺在涂楼村，宋咸淳年间重兴，明万历年间重建，山中石刻颇多，博雅地名网称它为县级文物保护单位。[9]

河墘村的妈祖庙至今尚存，列为县级文物，其灯火曾为海上船只导航。[10]

北旗村的罗宛井窑是北宋至南宋的瓷窑遗址。[11]
