下寮村位于福建省漳州市漳浦县六鳌镇东南部，靠着六鳌山西麓，村子就在六鳌古城西门之外。村的北面是鳌西村，南面接店下村，东南方向是营里村，越过六鳌山便是东门村。村子面朝浮头湾，自古设有渡口，与对岸的旧镇往来摆渡，也有船只通航厦门等地。下辖城顶、下寮两个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，下寮归陆鳌保，之后并入龙鳌保。民国初年，它属东区的六鳌里；民国二十九年后，分归六鳌乡下的城江保与下寮保。新中国成立后，公社化时期另设下寮生产大队，隶属六鳌公社，即今下寮村。[2]

姓氏[edit]

城顶自然村的村民全部姓林。下寮自然村有林、郑、王、蔡、张、李、陈、刘、潘等姓，以林姓人数最多。郑姓于1700年（清康熙三十九年）在村中立足；其来历说法不一，有人认为是明代军户的后人，清初迁界时离村，复界后又回来。蔡、张两姓是早先的老住户，各有祖祠。[2]

渔业与养殖[edit]

下寮是漳浦县重要的渔区之一。村里以渔业与近海养殖为主要支柱，发展了近海网箱养殖、紫菜、海带及滩涂对虾等养殖，农业则以番薯、花生为主。[2]
