新湖村是福建省漳州市云霄县下河乡下辖的行政村，位于县道云平线旁，距县城约6公里，是乡内人口最少的行政村。村民由峰头水库库区搬迁而来，村名由原名中的一字改定。[1]

地名与历史[edit]

1979年，峰头水库新林库区的移民迁来此地建宅定居。此地原名钟湖，属孙坑村委会；为怀念故土，村民将「钟」字改为「新」，称新湖。[1]

新中国成立后，该地的迁入居民原属本县马铺乡一带。1984年公社改乡，大队改为村委会。[1]

概况[edit]

据博雅地名网，全村有180户、750人，分3个村民小组，村民全部姓方。村中以蘑菇栽培和牛蛙养殖为主要产业。[1]

2021年2月，「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单公布，新湖村列入其中；2022年12月，省爱卫会评定新湖村为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
