地名由来[edit]
该村最初由董姓人家开基，村前一口池塘，村名因此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国初此地隶属第三区陈岱乡；1958年称董塘大队，归海峰公社管辖；1961年改属陈岱公社；1984年公社改为镇，大队换作村委会。[1]
