西湖村位于陈巷镇北部，西临龙津溪，辖7个自然村和7个村民小组，共500户。村内以甘蔗、毛豆和玉米种植为主，十五户陂的灌区覆盖本村。[1][2][3]

地名由来[edit]

村庄建于西面，地处低洼，下雨即成湖泊，故称西湖。[1]

沿革[edit]

建国前这里称西岩保；公社化的1958年设西湖大队，1984年改设村民委员会。[1]

人口与农业[edit]

全村500户，总人口1650人，党员71人。[1]

以甘蔗、毛豆、玉米为主要作物，种植面积约1500亩；另有一家蔬果公司在村中种植台湾莲雾、台湾蜜枣和芒果等高优水果。[1][2]

水利[edit]

十五户陂的灌区覆盖西湖村，陂为南宋时陈耆倡建的灌溉工程。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2022年12月，获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

2025年10月，获认定为「漳州市2025年度市级“一村一品”专业村」，产品为甘蔗。[1]
