石井社区位于石井镇东部，聚落分布在石井江西岸的沿海平原上，镇政府驻地即在附近。[1][2]境内的自然村有石井、象形等，省道201线穿村而过。[2]石井港是社区内的重要港口，历史上设有巡检司，1992年辟为国家二类口岸。[2][4]

名称由来[edit]

社区名称与境内的白鹤山有关：山下有一口天然石井，井水清甜，故名石井。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

元、明、清三代这里属四十三都，民国初为东西保。1943年划入石井镇，同年改属延平乡；1949年后成为成功乡，1958年设石井大队。[4]

1984年，此地分设石井村民委员会与石井渔业村民委员会；1989年7月两者合并，改称石井社区居民委员会。[4][2]

2025年1月，石井社区上榜「2024年度南安市和谐村（社区）」名单。[1]

地理与产业[edit]

居民过去以捕鱼和搬运为主要生计，社区内有木船多艘。博雅地名网称，石井港是南安市唯一的海运通道。[2]

陆上企业有石材、针织、服装与食品加工，海上有捕捞与养殖，此外还有印刷、机械修配、制冰冷冻与油库等行业。[2]

港口与航运[edit]

南宋绍兴十四年（1144年）设石井巡检司，管理船舶出入口岸的事务。[2]

1931年（民国二十年）「石水莲」公路开通，石井的水陆交通随之便利。1992年，石井港辟为国家二类口岸和台轮停泊点。[2]

文物古迹[edit]

石井郑氏宗祠为清代古建筑，列为市级文物保护单位。[1]海上视师石刻为明代石刻，铳城遗址为明清古遗址，两者也都是市级文物保护单位。[1]

石井许氏祖墓包括「石井许始祖五代仝茔」与「溪边六使许公之墓」两处墓葬，占地约970平方米。2020年1月21日，南安市人民政府将其公布为第五批市级文物保护单位。[1]
