石井镇位于福建省泉州市南安市东南部，东侧濒海，西部多丘陵，是民族英雄郑成功的故乡。[2][9]据南安市人民政府网站2025年4月刊载的乡镇概况，全镇行政区域面积86.96平方千米，海岸线长32.56千米，城镇化率为51.39%。[6]历史上，石井是「海上丝绸之路」的出海口之一。[2][3]

名称由来[edit]

镇名取自境内白鹤山下的一口天然石井，井水甘美，远近闻名。明初，江夏侯周德兴巡视海防，在井旁题写「石井」二字并刻石。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代这一带属太平乡，分为崇教里与施兴里；元、明、清三代先后分属四十一、四十二、四十四都。[3]隋代已有居民以捕鱼和耕作为生，唐代开辟为海上丝绸之路的一处港口，宋代设石井津，并置巡检司管理港口船只。[2][3]

明代在此建靖海寨、筑烟墩铳城，清初曾是郑成功屯师复台的基地之一。清顺治十八年（1661年）重新划归南安县管辖。[3]

民国年间设延平乡，后改为石井镇。1949年后这里先归入十一区、十七区两个行政区，1958年设立石井公社。博雅地名网记为1984年改设石井镇，百度百科则称1985年由石井乡改为石井镇，两说并存。[3][7]

2012年1月，福建省人民政府将石井镇认定为「第四批福建省历史文化名镇名村」。[5]

地理环境[edit]

镇域地势自东向西抬升，东侧临海，西部为丘陵，镇区中散布着小山丘，属海相性丘陵地带。[6]

东隔马江与晋江市东石镇相望，南面临浯江，与金门仅距6海里，北与水头镇接壤。博雅地名网称石井马江是南安市唯一的出海口。[2]

文化[edit]

据博雅地名网，石井是高甲戏的发源地：岑兜村的洪埔师及村民创造了这一剧种，洪埔师因此被后人尊为「戏祖公」。[2]

境内宗教信仰以佛教、道教为多。南宋理学家朱熹曾多次到杨子山书院讲学。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

南安郑成功纪念馆1962年设在郑氏小宗祠，1981年于鳌峰山另建新馆，陈列郑成功的头发、玉袍、靴等文物200余件。[4]

延平郡王祠位于南安市石井镇。清廷在康熙三十八年（1699年）下令迁回郑成功灵柩，使其归葬南安郑氏祖茔，并随之建祠奉祀。民国十六年（1927年）重建，1949年遭飞机轰炸受损，1987年重修。1996年列为福建省第四批省级文物保护单位。[4]

奎霞建筑群位于奎霞村，由清末至现代陆续建成的闽南传统建筑与南洋风格建筑组成，2018年列为福建省第九批省级文物保护单位。[8]

其他文物有石井郑氏宗祠、海上视师石刻与铳城遗址（均在石井社区），杨子山清水岩与石井邦伯坊（在郭前村），石井郑西庭墓（在苏内村），以及统城遗址（博雅地名网列于石井镇渔村）。[4]

著名人物[edit]

郑成功（1624—1662）是明末清初的抗清将领，曾率军收复台湾。义存（822—908）为五代十国时期的真觉大师，博雅地名网将其列为石井镇相关名人。[2]
