埔心村是罗东镇下辖的行政村，在镇政府所在地西北约1.2公里，村落铺展在洞顶寨东南山脚的丘陵地上，略呈椭圆[2]。村名出自村中一片草埔，这片草埔处在村落中心[1][2]。福建省爱卫办授予埔心村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号，时间是2021年11月[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
民国时村子分为埔心保与田西保，1949年改属埔头乡。人民公社阶段，它隶属梅山火箭公社的罗中大队；1962年拆社后归入罗溪公社，并单独成为埔心大队[1][2]。
1984年归罗东乡管辖，1988年撤乡建镇后成为罗东镇的埔心村[2]。
名胜古迹[edit]
黄氏家庙位于本村，为清代古建筑，列入泉州市的文物保护单位名录[3]。
