华美村是福建省泉州市南安市蓬华镇下辖的行政村，位于镇政府驻地东北约1.5公里处，村委会设在华美，辖金泰、内寨、院后、芸内、水尾五个自然村。[1][2]村内的华美桥为清代石拱桥，列入《福建省泉州市市、县级文物保护单位实有名录》。[3][4]
历史沿革[edit]
村子原名“下尾”，因自然环境优美、华侨较多，改称“华美”。[1][2]
抗战时期称华美保，解放后为华美乡，公社化后设华美大队与华美公社。1984年起为蓬华乡下辖的华美村委会，1991年12月又划归蓬华镇。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
聚落位于天柱山西南麓，平面呈长方形。村内有耕地1679亩，山地8765亩。[1][2]
人口民族[edit]

村内主要种植水稻、甘薯，林果有柑桔、油茶、茶叶等。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]
华美桥位于村北水尾，为单孔石拱桥，始建于清代同治年间，光绪十一年（1885年）经教谕洪荣主持建造。石桥南端的圭首石碑上，题字者是清代太史黄贻楫。[3]
