山仔社区处在晋江市罗山街道的中南部，属于街道的行政文化新区。社区得名于境内的一座小山，面积约2平方千米，设4个片区、14个居民小组，常住人口2640人。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

社区因一座小山得名山仔。此地环境优美，一度被称为仙境。[1]

1956年此地归池店区罗山乡管辖，1961年设山仔大队，2003年转为社区。[3]

人口民族[edit]

社区有住户700户，常住人口2640人，暂住人口则为1200人。[2]

地理环境[edit]

社区全部主干道路约4200米长，和平南路、社马路、东环路与西环路贯穿其间，交通十分顺畅。[2]

文化[edit]

季延中学、季延初级中学、市武警中队与看守所等机构，连同其他单位，共30余家企事业单位设于辖区之内。[2]

社区内设有便民卫生所，并有老人活动中心和真济寺，同时组建了治安联防巡逻队。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

山仔保生大帝宫与山仔李茗监宅同为一般文物点。[4]
