洋田村是美湖镇的行政村，与洋坑、美湖、斜山、阳山等村毗邻，下辖8个自然村落。村中留有唐代的古陶瓷窑址。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

此地于1935年设为洋田保，编入第四区，归尊阳乡与双阳乡。1950年改属第五区，先归双阳乡与赤水乡，1951年划入美湖镇。1952年设洋田乡，1955年一度改名上坂乡，1956年又恢复洋田乡之名；同年十月设洋田大队，隶赤水公社；1984年改设洋田村委会，属美湖镇。[1]

人口民族[edit]

村中有林、许、李、黄、苏、章、徐、吴等姓，共592户2594人，分居东坑子、朝坂、虎秀等八个自然村落。[1]

地理环境[edit]

全村土地总面积16.5平方千米，其中耕地1580亩，林地22172亩。村中有瓷土、煤、铁、铅锌等矿产资源。[1][2]

经济[edit]

耕作以水稻、甘薯和马铃薯为多，兼以养猪；村中种有400多亩德化梨，另有700多亩毛竹林。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年6月，洋田村列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

唐代洋田墓林古陶瓷窑址在2003年被公布为县级文物。[4]

2012年普查登记的洋田墓林窑（唐、五代）和洋田圆墩堂（清代）均为一般不可移动文物，其中圆墩堂在本村的上田角落。[3]
