下寮村位于盖德镇西部，距德化县城约4公里，临近省道305线，村域面积3.71平方千米。该村旧名霞瑶，因村民在山下搭草寮居住而得名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年后，下寮村先分属浔中公社四荣乡管辖；1964年改属盖德人民公社，设下寮大队；1984年改大队为村委会，隶属盖德镇。[2][3]

2024年10月，下寮村被确定为泉州市2023年度市级「一村一品」专业村，主导产业为黄花远志。[2]
