溪西村是福建省泉州市永春县湖洋镇下辖的行政村，因地处仙溪西畔而得名，村域内有县级文物保护单位鼎仙岩。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村名取自所在位置：村子在仙溪的西岸，故称溪西。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋至清代，村域属十八都。20世纪30年代，此地叫鼎仙堡；1949年以前归湖洋乡仙溪堡，新中国成立后隶属第六区、第十区的仙溪乡。[1]

1958年，村子并入湖洋公社仙溪大队。1961年，村子从仙溪大队分出，设溪西大队；1984年起，称溪西村民委员会。[1]

解放初期，村子曾是游击队的根据地。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

鼎仙岩位于村管辖区内，据博雅地名网为县级文物保护单位，岩石峭立，泉水潺潺，寺中现存南宋理学家朱熹的墨迹。[2]

据百度百科，鼎仙岩为南宋朱熹题字之处，现存岩宇是明代万历年间重建的，民国十六年增建环楼。[3]

文化[edit]

2020年12月，溪西村获评「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」，并列入「2020年度福建省一村一品示范村」（永春芦柑）。[1]

2021年6月，溪西村入选「福建省第四批省级传统村落」名单；2021年12月，它被列为「泉州市2019-2021年度市级一村一品专业村」，主导产业为永春芦柑。[1]
