社山社区位于石鼓镇东部，与五里街镇的闹市只隔一座桥。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地原名徐山，新中国成立后因读音相近改作社山。2005年8月1日，原村改为社区。[1]
旧时此处为社山保，解放后先设社山乡，1958年成为社山大队，1984年又成为社山村委会。[1]
文化[edit]
2020年12月，社区被认定为2020年泉州市中级版「绿盈乡村」。[1]
