宝山村是西坪镇下辖的行政村，境内有大宝山，山又名大雾山。[1]

地名由来[edit]

大宝山山势高大，山顶平坦多石，常年云雾缭绕，因此得名大宝山，别名大雾山。村以山名。[1]

村原名高山，1979年设立行政村时改名宝山。[1]

村落与姓氏[edit]

全村姓萧，下辖玉斗美、石草池、高山洋三个自然角落。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据族谱，宋宣和年间，萧氏一支自泉州迁入安溪，数代后，又有一支于1392年落居高山。明末至清道光年间，有二百多名萧氏村民迁往台湾淡水一带。[1]

荣誉[edit]

福建省农业农村厅于2022年10月把本村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

2022年1月，本村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
