溪东村是魁斗镇下辖的行政村，位于镇政府驻地东南约1.5公里处，地处清溪东岸。村委会设在洋中，辖5个自然村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

1957年，以溪为界与蓬庭分开，因位于溪流东岸而得名溪东；1961年析为独立村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地为半仑乡和龙头乡。民国时期属城苑镇蓬庭保。1952年时隶属二区的蓬庭乡；1958年并入城关公社，编为蓬庭大队的成员。[1]

1961年，蓬庭大队一分为二，溪东单独设大队，属城关区蓬庭公社。1965年以后划归魁斗公社。1984年成为魁斗乡溪东村；1992年设镇后，属魁斗镇溪东村。[1]
