下坑村是福建省泉州市惠安县山霞镇的行政村，南面临海，面积3平方千米[1][2]。据博雅地名网所载，它是全镇最大的行政村[2][3]。村中的后塘武庙为县级文物保护单位[4]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名因位于东坑村的东南部而定为「下坑」[2]。明、清时期此地属二十六都青山铺。民国初年仍沿清代的编制，民国34年归青山乡；1951年与1952年间，先后改为四区、五区，划归崇武[2][3]。

「文化大革命」结束后，此地又合成一个下坑村；1984年政社分设后归山霞乡；1992年改行镇管村体制，村内分为霞溪、霞青、霞阳三片；改革开放以后重新设立下坑村委会[2][3]。

名胜古迹[edit]

后塘武庙是清宣统二年（1910年）所建的庙宇，供奉关圣帝君。庙后有一汪形状像关刀的水潭，庙名由此而来。庙宇朝向坐东北朝西南，分前后两进，中间有拜亭，属县级文物保护单位[2][4]。

地理环境[edit]

村子南临台湾海峡，沿海有防风林带，青山湾的海滨沙滩在本村一带[1]。

文化[edit]

2017年9月，农业农村部推介下坑村为「2017年中国美丽休闲乡村」[2]。下坑村于2022年10月经福建省农业农村厅认定，入选「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」[2]。
