双溪村是罗溪镇镇中心区的行政村，村域位于八峰山西北麓，在前溪与后溪之间。[1][2]

村名取自前溪、双溪两条溪流在此汇合的地势，博雅地名网称这一名称形成于20世纪90年代。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地归晋江县四十七都；民国时属大罗溪乡中溪保，解放初设中溪乡。1971年改为罗溪公社双溪大队，1984年改为罗溪乡双溪村委会，后又称罗溪镇双溪村。[1][2]

2020年12月，村庄被认定为泉州市中级版「绿盈乡村」；2021年11月，获福建省爱卫办命名为2021年福建省卫生村；2021年与2022年两度入选淘宝村名单。2025年11月，村庄通过认定，成为福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村中的一员。[1][3]
