宝山社区位于泉州市区东部，古时称桃源，因辖区内造型奇特的花岗岩景观而改称宝山。[2]

社区于2003年由村改为社区，2025年划归临海街道。[1][3]

地理与交通[edit]

辖区东边靠近桃花山森林公园，西侧有泉州晋江大桥，北面通着安吉路，道路网络较为发达。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

博雅地名网称，此地古名桃源；因一带石景与山水田园相映，成为泉郡的资源宝地，遂改称宝山。[2]

2003年，村改社区，改设宝山社区。[1]

人口与面积[edit]

2021年，全社区占地6.3平方千米，居住的常住人口有4258人。[1]

文物与宗教场所[edit]

辖区内有市级文物保护单位富鸿基墓。遗址中包括骡马驿站、打铁埔，以及桃花山上的蔡清祠、万岁山与石枫院。[1]

社区内的宗教场所有东海观音禅寺与泉州娲媓宫。[1]
