东海街道是福建省泉州市丰泽区东部的街道，濒临晋江下游北岸，办事处设在泉宁路89号。[3][4]

街道的前身是东海乡，此后先后称东海公社、东海镇，2003年改设街道。[3][5]2025年，泉州市人民政府批复原东海街道分设为东海、临海两个街道，调整后的东海街道辖9个社区。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立初期，这一带隶属晋江县第三区。1951年县市分治，其中一部分划归泉州市南台区。[3]

1958年，晋江县第三区与南台区的若干乡并为东海人民公社；百度百科则记为同年设立东海乡。1961年，公社中分出城东、渔业两个公社，1970年渔业公社撤销，两个大队回归东海公社。[3][5]

2003年，东海镇改设为街道。[3][5]

2025年，泉州市人民政府批复（泉政文〔2025〕7号）将原东海街道析置为东海、临海两个街道，并设立临海街道办事处。维基百科记该批复为2025年1月6日。丰泽区人民政府在2025年3月发布公告，东海街道保留的社区为东梅、翡翠、金崎、北星、后厝、滨海、浔埔、后埔、滨城；其余9个社区改归临海街道。[1][2]

地理与交通[edit]

国道324线与福泉厦高速穿越辖区，津淮东街、泉秀东街是城区主干道。泉州市中心汽车站也设在街道内，辖区还有国家一类口岸后渚港。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

后厝丁马成宅在后厝社区，建于民国，为市级文物保护单位，博雅地名网将其归入近现代重要史迹。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2014年，环境保护部把国家级生态乡镇的称号授予东海街道，依据的是2012至2013年度的考核。[3]
