蕉坑村位于均口镇东南部，距镇区约14公里，是建宁县南部最前沿的村庄，省道穿村而过。县政府的文件把它写作「焦坑村」。[1][2]

2021年11月，村庄获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2022年10月，省农业农村厅将本村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

地名来自古时此地遍生芭蕉，后辟为墟场并形成市街。[1]

1997年撤乡并镇，村属均口镇。[1]

1984年改为村民委员会，1968年设革命领导小组，1958年为均口人民公社的蕉坑大队，1956年改为蕉坑乡人民委员会，1950年设蕉坑乡人民政府，隶属第三区。解放前属宁安乡的蕉坑保。[1]

经济[edit]

2012年，工农业总产值合计980万元，农业产值720万元，工业产值260万元。当年农民人均纯收入7500元。[1]
