双溪村位于里心镇东南端，村部距镇区11.5公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

古时，周边几处乡村通往建宁县城多经此地。革命战争年代，这里处在中央红军从客坊转战建宁县城的交通要道上，也是重要的游击区之一。[2]

当时村中有多人参加中国工农红军，登记在册的6人后均牺牲，成为烈士；解放后，又有107人参加人民解放军。[2]

2020年12月，双溪村入选「2019年度福建省“一村一品”示范村」名单（建宁黄桃）。[1]
