洋坑村位于开善乡南部，距乡政府约2公里。村名原为「杨坑」，因杨氏在此开基定居，后以谐音写作「洋坑」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋元时期，此地属崇礼乡高平里的开善上保。民国初年划入南乡，1934年改属三区，1940年归开永乡。[2]

解放后，1952年曾设洋坑乡。1958年改设洋坑生产大队，归冲天公社管辖；次年划归儒坊公社。1984年9月转为村民委员会。[2]

经济[edit]

村内发展了畜禽规模养殖，水稻、烟叶与毛竹是主要农产。[1]县政府网称，本村设有观赏鱼养殖项目，品种较多。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

洋坑水尾桥（清）位于洋坑行政村，洋坑廖氏宗祠（清）位于洋坑自然村，两处均见于2013年文物普查名录。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，洋坑村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。县政府网称，本村被评为「无毒乡村」守护行动示范村。[1][4]
