黄龙村是八字桥乡的行政村，位于乡境西部，东与后曲村相接，西与罗岩村为邻，南连坑头村，北邻村头村。村子距乡政府约3.1千米，通村道路均为水泥路面。[1][2]

村名原作「黄垅坑」。早年一位开基祖迁来此山垅定居，此后地名雅化为「黄龙」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

黄龙在1984年改设黄龙村之前，于1979年11月起属八字桥公社，此前的1958年成立过黄龙大队，归管前公社。解放初这里属第八区，民国时称居积保，明清时隶属尤溪一都。[1][3]

姓氏与宗族[edit]

村民以萧姓为主。据村情页，始祖早年自大田一带迁来，先在尤溪一都的他处寄居，后迁至本村所在的山坑定居，此后繁衍至今。[2]

萧氏宗祠为二层木结构，共五个单元，保存比较完好。[2]

人文[edit]

明清两代，村中共有4人考中秀才，近年来也有不少学子考取大学，其中有一人读到研究生。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中现存清代建筑珊瑚宫殿和太保宫殿，做工讲究。[2]

荣誉称号[edit]

2022年12月，黄龙村被福建省爱国卫生运动委员会认定为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]

2024年7月，黄龙村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」，同月又被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[1]
