双溪村位于中仙镇东南部，全村由安乐坑、后湾和双溪口三个自然村组成，村址在两条溪流的交汇处。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地明清时属尤溪县二十一都，民国时归下洋保。解放初划入文井乡，1958年成为文井大队的一部分。1980年2月才从文井大队分出，另设双溪大队，1984年大队改为双溪村。[1]

姓氏宗族[edit]

村中有张、吴两姓，两姓迁居此地已有二百七十多年。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村境内有名木古树四株，树龄均在四百年以上，为国家一级保护古树。村中还产芙蓉李、银杏、山东梨与柿子，油茶也有名声。[2]
