历史沿革[edit]

民国时期属龙车保；土地改革时称“村美”乡；1958年改名村尾，成立村尾大队，属管前公社；1984年改为村尾村，设村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2008年，村子被评为县级文明村。[2]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2024年7月，被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
