宝山村位于尤溪县新阳镇东南部，距镇区约14公里，地处偏远，居住地海拔300至700米，村内山地最高处逾1200米。[1][2]

村名的由来：村子坐落在棋盘山顶下的一处小山头上，原称山头，因与尤溪县内另一村名重复，改名宝山。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时此地归葛竹保，解放初与邻近的丁山合并设乡。1958年设山头大队，1981年改称宝山大队，原因是与台溪乡的同名村重复；1984年起改设宝山村。[1][2]

地理与生计[edit]

全村土地面积约12.01平方千米，林地约15642亩，森林覆盖率为89%，山上以马尾松、杉木为主，并有红豆杉、山栗、山枣等树种。[2]

村民住房多为木质或砖木结构，依山坡分散而建，最远的住户距村部约5公里，全村分布在五个自然村内。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，宝山村被列入2023年福建省卫生村名单；同年7月，又进入2023年度三明市「六无」达标名单。[1]
