后坪畲族村是西滨镇西北部的畲族行政村，海拔300米，距县城55公里，距集镇10公里[1]。全村辖2个自然村、5个村民小组[2]。

人口与村域[edit]

全村共716人，分为187户，男409人，女307人，劳动力总数434人[2]。耕地603亩，森林5381亩，全村土地6640亩[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

村庄旧称十三都后坪村，始祖在1504年由建宁县迁来定居[2]。

民族与传统村落[edit]

2006年，村集体获三明市授予「市民族团结进步模范集体」称号[2]。2020年2月，后坪村入选第三批省级传统村落名单[1]。2022年10月，列入第六批中国传统村落[1]。

产业[edit]

村民在本村发展绿色食品产业，种植花生、芥菜、地瓜，有二家加工企业将芥菜制成半成品糟菜[2]。

文物[edit]

第四次全国文物普查新登记的文物中，本村有黄厝坑古厝、凉亭架土堡两处，均记为清代[3]。
