拱桥村位于石牌镇中南部，毗邻屏山乡溪头村、吴山乡梓溪村和谢洋乡坑口村。村子由小桥、大贡、林泮坑、苏哥4个自然村组成。[1][2]

村子坐落在大仙峰山脉西麓，是大仙峰自然保护区的主要区域之一。村中有一座石拱桥，村名由此而来。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时此地属坊都，民国年间划归大田第一区，后转入均溪镇。新中国成立后，1950年它隶属大田第六区的石臂坑乡，1958年归均溪公社，1961年划入城关公社。[1]

1970年改为红湖公社的拱桥大队，1984年乡制恢复后列入石牌乡，称拱桥村村民委员会；1997年改制设镇，村委会更名为石牌镇拱桥村村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以种植毛竹、花卉、名贵苗木与油茶为主，养殖业以肉鸡为主，并有不少人外出务工。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

2024年7月，村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
