社区居民委员会组建于1993年，此后一直沿用这一名称。[1][2]

文化[edit]

2024年7月，石壁社区被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，同年7月又被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
