松林村位于夏茂镇北部，沿沙将公路而建。村名因开村时此地多松树而得名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

原属十七都，新中国成立后隶夏茂区的松林乡。1984年起称松林村村民委员会，名称一直沿用。[2]

人口与土地[edit]

2017年政府页称：松林村有4个自然村（松林、大坑、陈厝、岑尾），编为10个村民小组，居住410户、1680人。姓氏以邓、洪、姜为多。全村土地7956亩，林地5977亩，耕地1270亩。[1]
