高阳村隶属福建省莆田市仙游县石苍乡，是乡内较突出的省定革命基点村。1940年代，中共福建省委机关与闽中游击司令部曾迁驻本村，村中至今留有相关的革命旧址与古建筑。[1][2]

革命历史[edit]

1940年代初，福建省委机关在闽北受到围剿，遂决定南迁闽中。机关先在钟山镇临水的一处自然村落停留，随后经当地人带路，实地察看了高阳的地形与民情，决定将闽中游击司令部与省委机关迁设于此。[1]

1942年至1943年间，省委机关多次转移驻地，在本村高坪、赤竹坑、青溪一带的笋楼及祠堂后的石洞中活动，直至1943年12月迁往青溪龙潭里。[1]

当时全村有二百多名青壮年参与地下革命工作，担任送信、搭建草棚、采购粮食与药品、接应交通等工作，一些村民还以家产支持革命。[1]

1985年复查认定的“五老”人员为120人，当中地下党员2人、游击队员16人，交通员57人，接头户45人。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

中共福建省委旧址温氏宗祠位于高阳村，年代为1943年，是这一时期留下的建筑。[2]

高阳村的云顶岩寺也在本村境内，始建于北宋崇宁年间，元至正、明万历、清康熙年间均有重建或扩建，现存建筑属清代。[2]
