铺头社区位于福建省莆田市仙游县枫亭镇集镇区，在枫江北路一带，东接辉煌村，西与建国村接壤，南与霞街社区毗邻。[1]

社区的始祖由辉煌坑头迁来，在此开设店铺。社区名称源于驿铺：唐武德二年设立的枫亭馆，宋初改称枫亭驿，后改为枫亭铺，社区因地处驿铺的前端而得名。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

宋至清，这里归连江里管辖，里属唐安乡。民国时划归枫亭镇，先叫铺头保，之后又设为斗西保。[2]

1961年改为铺头大队，1984年设村委会，隶枫亭乡。2001年1月18日，改立为社区居民委员会，归枫亭镇。[2]

地理环境[edit]

社区东西宽约2公里，南北长约3公里，东部依塔斗山。[1]

文化[edit]

1997年，社区获莆田市和仙游县老龄委授予老年工作先进单位称号；2004年，被评为市级文明社区。[1]

1994年，以蔡襄墓为主体兴建了蔡襄陵园，石雕与山门依宋代风格重塑，两侧碑廊镌刻宋代四大书法家的笔迹。[1][4]

蔡襄墓于1961年被列为省级文物保护单位，墓地始建于明成化元年（1465年）。[1][4]

境内有唐武德二年设立的枫亭馆遗址，宋代的慈元庵，以及明万历年间兴建的七星书院。[1]
