钟宅社区位于凤翔街道中南部，辖后房、顶钟宅、下钟宅三个自然村，顶钟宅与下钟宅南北相对。[1]
地名由来[edit]
社区驻地原为钟宅，后拆分为顶钟宅、下钟宅两村，故名钟宅。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代隶翔风里十三都洪琳湖保，1943年归振南乡洪钟保，1950年改设洪钟乡，1955年改归洪钟区。1959年划入新店公社洪厝大队，1964年改隶东坑公社，1969年2月并入新店公社，1978年分设钟宅大队，仍归新店公社。1984年改为钟宅村委会，1987年划入新店镇，1997年划入同安区，2003年改隶翔安区，2006年12月改制为社区。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
