大同街道是福建省厦门市同安区下辖的街道，位于同安区中南部，在同安城区之内，辖区面积19.51平方千米。街道的名字来自唐代设立的大同场，2000年撤销大同镇后设立至今。截至2021年10月，街道辖有14个社区和6个行政村。[1][2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

唐贞元十九年（803年），官府自南安县西南划出四乡，另设大同场，今名由此而来。此后直到清代，这里一直被叫作「在坊里」。[3]

民国时期变动较多：1938年归第一区，1940年3月区制撤销，改设城厢镇；1944年8月，沿用唐代大同场的旧名，改为大同镇。[3]

新中国成立以后，它先称城关镇（1950年），归第六区（1952年），1955年再度直属县府；1959年成为城关公社，1980年改回城关镇，1984年又恢复大同镇的名字。[3]

2000年，大同镇撤销，原地分出大同、祥平两个街道，大同街道即其中之一。百度百科把设立时间写作2001年，博雅地名网则称街道办事处设立于2001年6月8日。[1][2][4]

地理环境[edit]

街道北、东北面分别与汀溪镇、五显镇接壤，东面和东南面与洪塘镇相邻，东西溪和西溪在南、西两侧把它与祥平街道隔开。[4][5]

同安城区中的古城东西较长、南北较窄，形如银锭，因此同安又有「银城」的别称。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

同安城墙在三秀路一带，南宋绍兴年间修筑，元至正十五年改为石砌，明万历年间重修。[1]

文公书院建于元代，位于梵天寺藏经阁后面，现为县级文物保护单位。蔡复一故宅在环城中路，为明代旧居，同样列为县级文物。[1]

省级文物保护单位有婆罗门佛塔、同安文庙、苏颂故居芦山堂和绩光铜柱坊，区级文物包括同安古城墙、梵天寺钟楼、朝元观等。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，大同街道列入福建省2018至2020年度省级文明村镇社区名单。[1]
