后溪镇在福建省厦门市集美区北部，镇政府设在孙坂北路800号，全镇辖7个社区、9个行政村。镇名取自境内的后溪河。[1][3][5]

镇域的北面与同安区相连，西北面与漳州市长泰区接壤，南面濒临杏林湾。2020年底的统计为总人口7.61万人，按户籍登记常住本镇的有6.31万人。[3] 镇内保存有苎溪桥、后溪城内城遗址和白虎岩等文物古迹。[1][8]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代这里属同安县明盛乡仁德里，明代分属仁德里的十二都与十三都。清末，十二都辖8个保，十三都辖5个保，大致相当于今天的后溪、溪西、前进、新村等村，以及第二农场和坂头林场一带。[2]

民国时期，这片地方归集美乡管辖，分设珩山、东英、石兜、城内、下营和后溪等保。[2]

1984年10月设后溪乡，1991年改为镇；1987年7月划归集美区。2001年11月，叶厝、凤林美、浒井、孙厝这四个居委会，以及东安、兑山两个村委会析出，另设侨英街道。2003年镇政府迁到埭建、街路、城内三社的交界处。[2]

英村与新村于2006年改制为社区。原属坂头林场的许庄、黄地二村，于2005年10月划归后溪镇；许庄村于2009年前后改设三兴社区。[2][4]

地理环境[edit]

本镇处在集美区的北部地带，东北方向与同安区相连，西北方向与漳州市长泰区相接，东南与侨英街道为邻，南面临杏林湾。[3]

境内建有坂头水库和石兜水库，水库一带原为坂头林场的山地。[4][6]

经济[edit]

2021年和2022年，后溪镇两次入选淘宝镇名单。[1] 镇内的新村社区出产琯溪蜜柚，是本地的特产之一。[1][4]

文化[edit]

据博雅地名网所列，镇内流传的民俗项目有闽南童谣、大使公信俗、「厦门歌仔说唱」、「厦门馅饼手工制作技艺」、「闽花艺」技艺和「龟糕印技艺」。[1]

2012年至2013年度，后溪镇获得「国家级生态乡镇」称号。省农业农村厅于2022年10月确定后溪镇为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2023年10月，镇入选福建省「全域生态旅游小镇」名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

白虎岩在镇西部，位于市第二农场的后山上。石洞内建有小庙，主祀白虎神和土地神，洞顶是一块高约12米的天然巨石。这座小庙的建筑始于建文年间，即1399年至1402年，清代经雍正、同治年间多次修葺，庙内保存有明代石供桌。岩壁上另有明万历八年的题刻。[1][6][9]

皇帝井位于前进村苏营一带，井体为东西并列的两口六边形石板井，井旁建有皇渡庵。井区于1840年（清道光年间）重修，1997年再次修缮；据传唐宣宗曾在此饮水。[8][10]

苎溪桥在镇西北部的苎溪村南侧，桥始建于北宋大观时期，南宋乾道年间重修。桥身为石结构的平梁样式，桥墩共八座、形状如船，桥洞九个，桥身长73米，宽2.6米。该桥是市级文物保护单位。[8][11]

后溪城内城遗址在后溪村城内自然村北侧，旧称下店寨，因村民迁入城中而改称城内城。康熙元年（1662年），李率泰与施琅受朝廷之命主持修建。现存南城门的「临海门」石匾，1982年列为市级文物保护单位。[7][12]

碗窑古窑址在市第二农场碗窑村东北的山丘上，为宋代窑址。该窑址于1981年被发现，2001年经抢救性发掘，窑产以青瓷为主，器物中碗类居多，村名由此而来。[7][13]

寿石岩位于岩内村岩内水库东侧的山腰间，明朝已有建造，清朝时重建并修葺。它以一块大石作屋顶，岩壁上有崇祯年间的石刻。[1][6]
